Our Story
Lakeview Baton Twirling Academy was founded in February 2026 by Director and Head Coach Aleah Boyd, though the vision for the club had been forming for many years. A former competitive baton twirler, Aleah dedicated 13 years to the sport, earning numerous gold and silver medals in both team and solo events at Ontario competitions and Canadian Championships.
Lakeview Baton Twirling Academy was created to offer young athletes a positive, structured, and supportive introduction to the sport. The goal is not only to teach baton skills, but to build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging.
Our program begins with a focus on beginner twirlers, emphasizing strong foundational technique, proper skill progression, and a deep understanding of the fundamentals. From the very first class, athletes are encouraged to grow not only as performers, but as members of a team.
As the academy grows, athletes who develop a passion for the sport will have opportunities to continue progressing through structured training pathways.
At Lakeview Baton, every athlete matters. We are committed to creating an environment where each person feels valued, supported, and proud to be part of our twirling community.
